Locking In

 Locking In

We are finally here, at this point in the semester. The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping and all students are eagerly awaiting the last exam and starting their journey home for Christmas break. I cannot wait for this moment of relief, knowing another semester has come to an end and that I earned my time off. These last 3 weeks move very quickly and before you know it break will be here. Even if it seems too far away at this moment in time. But with all the assignments, final projects and exams all lying in these 3 weeks it is essential to lock in and not slack off. Some deciding factors of grades are made during this time so I advise you and myself to just push through. It will be over soon.

One way to do this if you haven't done so already is to write down all the tasks you have for the rest of our time here. Not only does this give you a better understanding of what and how much time you should invest. If entering this data on a calendar you can even start advocating certain time slots for specific tasks such as studying for an exam or working on a paper and even to the extent of this time slot is for relaxation. It is key to remember to take a break when needed but to keep in mind to not linger around for longer than you should or get lazy and start putting things off as this defeats the entire purpose of planning in the first place.

  1. I agree with using a calendar to write down all task. It 100% makes a difference.
