 The Winning Algorithm



In today's blog, I would like to discuss the winning algorithm and ask you if you believe such a thing exists. I believe such a thing does exist but is up to interpretation. We have the blueprints or the formula if one might call it. And exactly that is what I am writing about this evening. There are 4 topics one must pay attention to which I will discuss in further detail later on. Understanding these and using them to one's advantage is key! Some basic tips to know are as follows: high quality content must be used, utilize the correct keywords and be active and engaging including your audience. 
    
    Your Brands' Domain Quality if good will draw more people and push you to the top in suggestions.  is the first concept one must pay attention to. In order to have a high domain quality one must post content that gets lots of interactions increasing in popularity. Next is Pin Quality which measures the popularity of the pin. Having a high number of repins and interactions also increases this ensuring you a top spot on the Pinterest home feed. The next is Pinner Quality which I have no idea what it actually is.

LOL. Hope you guys can explain it in the comments ... because I am lost. What makes it different from Pin Quality? The last concept is Relevance as this includes the use of keywords to help the algorithm send your pins to the right audience. Your target market can be reached by using relevant keywords. 
    
    Paying attention to what content gets the most interaction and which keywords push your pins to the right audience. Doing so is a great start. Posting high quality pictures and videos can separate you from others making you unique. If one wants to maximize success make sure to post frequently and during the best times whilst also being interactive with consumers of your content.

Stress

 Stress Once again we are in a part of the year where classes get more difficult and the amount of work that needs to be done increases. Besides basketball picking up as we are approaching our first official game this Saturday against Kalamazoo College in Michigan. I have numerous tests and assessments in many of my classes to study for. Therefore this off-day tomorrow will be a huge part of my week. Hopefully, it takes some of the stress off me.      Not going to lie, yes I have been under some stress lately which does not help when having to manage many things at once. But perhaps that is where it comes from. Either way, I need to make sure to utilize my off day and get some things done in an effort to free up the rest of my week. Having more time for the remainder of the week is huge as Saturday is scratched and the entire day will go to the game. This means that I only really get Sunday to do the things I need to do. Consistency gets tiring

 Consistency gets tiring I am sure we all had dreams of all sorts when we were little kids. Even though these might have changed since, whatever your goal is you need to make sure that when working towards it you stay consistent. If you do not do so it will become extremely difficult to stay and remain at the top compared to your competitors that are consistent in their work. An example of this could even be these blogging assignments. Think about just how hard it is to stay consistent with these blog posts. It is not easy to post it on different days and stay consistent with delivering quality content.     Another example would be Kobe Bryant. He was arguably one of the three greatest basketball players of all time. But how did he get there? He worked harder than everybody else perfecting his craft.
